Our web site consists of dozens of pages of information. If we put unnecessary pretty pictures and snazzy animation on them, they would look better, but they would take so long to load that some people might not have the patience to wait for them. We don't want to frustrate people with slow modems. Therefore, we keep graphics to a minimum. We avoid frames and other features that aren't supported by older browsers.
Pictures and text are designed to be displayed on an 800x600 pixel screen.
We use default fonts so you can display the text however you like. We have picked a background color that we hope will appear as a sandy beige, which should provide good contrast but still be easy on your eyes.
We have broken the site into many pages, cross indexed to each other, to make it easy for you to follow a topic from one page to another.
We have done everything we can to make it easy for you to find and read the information we have here for you. To do this, however, we had to cut out the cute stuff. We think it was a small price to pay.
There are no ads on our web site. If you are seeing pop-up ads, they are coming from your local internet service provider, not us.
If you have suggestions for ways to improve this site, we encourage you to send mail to our web master.
